Featuring high-definition laser technology, the Microsoft 69K-00001 offers laser precision as you scroll through your files. Smoother tracking means less strain on your hands and wrists, and higher responsiveness means you'll quickly notice an increase in your productivity. The mouse also offers four-way scrolling, adding even greater efficiency and comfort to your work. The entire scroll wheel tilts from side-to-side and reacts to how quickly you roll the wheel for smooth, accurate maneuverability. For example, imagine yourself working with a super-wide spreadsheet loaded with data. With the Laser Mouse 6000 you can tilt the wheel from side-to-side to scroll right and left without having to click-and-drag the application's tiny scroll bar or arrows. And if your desktop is cluttered with too many items to find what you're looking for, don't fret. This mouse has a built-in Instant Viewer -- just click the scroll wheel button to display your open windows, then point and click to select.

Losses wireless signal, second thumb button gets jamed, too bad other than that its a great device![]()
Well I must say this mouse is quite comfortable, it bothers my wrist far less than my previous mouse. Unfortunately I get choppy wireless access a few times a day. This is incredibly annoying as the mouse ether doesn't respond, or the cursor jumps around the screen and not all button clicks are detected. I have stayed away from wireless input devices for years now, first I hate batteries and second for worry of reasons like this where you loose connection. The receiver for the mouse is less than 1.5 feet from where I use the mouse and the batteries are new so it really is illogical why the signal is lost.
My other gripe is that recently the larger thumb button is getting stuck in the click position. I use this button a lot in blender and having it jam every little bit is very counter productive. Its really too bad that the mouse is failing in these 2 situations, as it is very comfortable to use, the software allows you to map lots of commands even application specific ones and runs great on my Mac. I don't understand why they don't make a wired version of this device, as a wire is far less obvious on my desk than the huge receiver for this mouse.
Good for big hands![]()
I love this! although not very exact,it is comfortable. my wrist never hurts anymore. But my wife hates it.
So only good for big hands, small hands better step away from it.
